Sister Electra is the brainchild of musician/producer Stefan Eriksson and, despite the electronic approach to the sound; his
own musical roots were originally within punk and heavy metal genres. It was in the late eighties he was drawn towards the electronic music scene.
Throughout his career, Eriksson has been in an impressing number of bands, released records and toured around the world.

Probably one of the biggest surprises to me was finding out about BlakLight by just browsing. Very reminiscent of groups like Depeche mode. Has a nice, classic sound with modern additions sprinkled in, and definitely worth a buy.

The reason I chose The Arch House is that it got my hooked immediately. I had to listen to the rest of the album . Fantastic follow-up to the excellent Living Ghosts. A must for a fan of not just synth based music but of music. Great production, sound and a well balanced album. Coming from Sheffield I wouldn't expect anything less as it is the home to the fabulous Human League and even better Heaven 17 from the BEF days.
